This quality aftermarket 12 volt Perkins alternator fits the Perkins 4.236 ‘lowline’ (M90) marine engine. The adjuster arm securing bolt is at a 180 degree angle to the mounting arms as can be seen from the photos. The alternator takes the earth (-) connection from the mounting to the engine block. It is not ‘isolated earth’.
- High output 70 amp alternator. Supplied with cooling fan and pulley for 13 mm (1/2″ inch) belt. Electrical output connections are for battery (+), alternator warning lamp and an AC terminal for a tachometer.

We include with the kit a packet of the correct electrical spade connectors and also a wiring diagram to help with fitting.
