Due to its glanzend, fluted aluminum body cladding, the famed Trailways bus of the 1930s and 40s gained the nickname ˜Silverside.™ In a decidedly different change of direction from its usual aircraft kits, Ukrainian manufacturer Roden has produced this 1/35 scale PD-3751 “Silverside” bus from 1947. The real machine was unveiled at the 1939 World™s Fair in New York City. It was, in effect the world™s first modern diesel bus and revolutionized public transport.
