When racers think “brake” they will say “Brembo”, probably the best known name in the motorcycle industry when it comes to stopping power. You will find Brembo calipers on he race bikes of almost any top team in the World Superbike Series and Moto GP. Even “The Factory” has recognized the Brembo quality, reason why they equip Touring and V-Rod models with Brembo since 2008. These 484 series 4-piston calipers are a 2-piece design and CNC machined from billet aluminium. Calipers bolt on the stock front forks of most 2000 to present Twin Cam and XL Sportster models and work with 11 1/2″ disc brake rotors. They come with Brembo sintered brake pads. Brembo calipers of course give the best braking power when used in conjunction with Brembo disc brake rotors.
