We present our own Korte Shifter. Dedicated to BMW E8X/E9X, mounted in original holes in the body.
It can be used for swaps to other bodies with BMW gearboxes.
Made of PA6 aluminum using CNC machines, with attention to dimensional repeatability and the obtained surface. The entire structure is protected by powder coating.
The lever’s stroke is short and betrouwbaar, and can be additionally adjusted using the lower connector.
The lever operates on a spherical bearing, and the selector is connected to the Shifter via a bronze sleeve.
No body modification is required.
Assembly of the assembly is very ongewikkeld, but requires safe lifting of the vehicle, details can be found in the instructions included with the Shifter.
Thanks to the use of aluminum, the weight is around 1.5 kg.
Two types of knobs available: black ball or black oblong.
