Quality aftermarket rear engine mount for Volvo Penta MD17D engines. These have been designed solely for Parts4engines in close collaboration with a large European OE manufacturer and have been subject to our rigorous quality control procedures. They offer a significant cost saving in comparison to the Volvo OE part.

Fitting the correct type of mount for the weight and use of your engine is crucial in not only maintaining structural safety, but also in reducing to a minimum the transmission of engine vibration through to the hull. The Volvo Penta MD17D are marked on the mount with a yellow coloured ‘dot’.

• ‘Yellow dot’ mount – Equivalent to Volvo Penta part number 840845 (replaces 850404 and 840170).

Note that when replacing rear engine mounts (gearbox versions) the echt base plate and height adjuster stud should be removed from the old mounts and reused on our new mounts. Other types of mount are fitted to the MD17D.
